Abstract

Women play a strong role in the lives of people around them. The time and efforts they expend for their family and their work place realization their physical, psychological, emotional and social components. So it is important for women to balance between their family and work. This paper targets at analyzing the difference level of Work Life Balance among female middle level employees. The roles of women have never been easy since past. It has been very difficult for women to fit into several roles which are assigned to them. From daughter to wife to mother, it has always been difficult for women to manage all these roles together. Eventually it’s also difficult for women to strike balance between their home and their work life. It is assumed in India that the home life gets affected of the women engaged in work entirely. In India women are always taught to serve their home first, no matter what. This also affects the work life of these women as they are unable to provide dedication to their work due to the lack of support from family. It’s important as women that one should prioritize their work. Families should be equally supportive towards a woman's job as much as a man's job. But things will probably change with time and more and more women will start working outside home too in the next few years.
