Abstract

Corporate/business sustainability, corporate governance, organizational ethics, and forensic accounting are taking center stage in the global business environment. The four emerging educational topics are gaining global acceptance and attention of business schools worldwide. In today’s business environment, multinational corporations are under scrutiny and profound pressure from investors, lawmakers, and regulators to improve their corporate governance and business sustainability. Business sustainability of focusing on multiple bottom line of economic, governance, social, ethical, and environmental (EGSEE) performance is also gaining considerable attention. Investor demands (impact investing initiatives), regulators required, and business organizations (more than 45,000 worldwide) report some EGSEE dimensions of sustainability performance. Forensic accounting is also a growing field of accounting with significant opportunities for advancements.
