The project aims to understand the overall equity market, to get to know the trading, and clearing and settlement aspect of the equity market. This project will help us to understand the overall working of the equity market and its importance to the economy of India. A large amount of money flows and millions of shares exchange hands in a single market day. Exchange of shares enables the supply of money in and out of a firm. The company whose shares are listed and the government who plays a crucial role through the policies formed in the market help them to raise funds which can be used for the benefit and the growth of the companies and share some part of their profit to the investor in the form of dividends.
