Abstract

Non-performing customers are always a menace to banks. With passage of time and advent of
business expansion, Chhattisgarh Rural Banks in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh, is facing alarming
incline in the cases of advances given to MSME’s becoming non-performing. This paper ranks the
underlying reason for advances becoming non-performing based on survey taken from MSME’s in
Bilaspur District.
