Abstract

Introduction of telecommunications technology has increased the prospects of work from home. There are difficult times in life of employees wherein it is difficult to meet the professional obligation and fulfil personal needs then work from home is a respite which is a provision where employees can work from home or any place away from the office premise. Telecommuting culture has positive and negative effect on professional development as well as quality of work life.  The paper discusses the effects of working from home on quality of life .A brief analysis of several aspects of work experience and communication problem of employee and employers are highlighted. The paper further examines the employees work related well being which covers rewards, stress free environment and devoid of other negative consequences.
