Abstract

Marketing feeds the target audience about the products and services that are being offered at a hotel . Marketing projects the value of the product and services, its USP  and additional details the end customers wishes to know. Marketing assists in boosting  Sales by utilizing different modes to promote the products or services that a hotel offers. Various mediums are used to increase sales which positively impacts profitability include word of mouth publicity, direct marketing, social media, press, Television, promotions, company website etc.

The  marketing plans  are designed well in advance as part of strategic plan .can It assists in smooth running of  business. Hotel marketing plans incorporate the revenue to be generated from room , Food & beverage and banquet sales.

A hotel can have a  great location, excellent amenities, world-class service, and comfortable accommodations but if travelers and tourists are not aware of them they would not actually book a stay in that particular hotel.  The analysis of Market place analysis assists  the hotel in branding and reputation in the market and also to identify the potential target customers promote the hotel. The core area of the study is to identify the benefits of marketing planning and its processing. Marketing audit is the edifice of hotel marketing plan. Market audits conducted by hotels include  Analysis of Property,  Competition Analysis besides Market place analysis.
