Abstract

The Indian cosmetic industry defined as skin care, oral care, color cosmetics, fragrance, and hair care products. India is a contract country with a population of more than a billion people. Indian cosmetics industry has seen rapid growth over the past couple of decades and has seen strong growth over the past couple of years and emerged as one of the industries with future growth potential. The cosmetic market in India is growing at an annual rate of fifteen to twenty, twice as fast as that of the US and European markets, the growth in the cosmetic market reflects increased demand for beauty care products in India.
