Abstract

MOTHER DAIRY (UNIT OF G.C.M.M.F. Ltd,), set up in 1994,is a wholly owned subsidiary of National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) of India. Mother Dairy (UNIT OF G.C.M.M.F.Ltd) owned by Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing federation Limited (G.C.M.M.F.Ltd) – a state level apex cooperative organization of 1.6 million farmers of Gujarat and was commissioned  in September 19, 1994 with a sole objectives of receiving each and every drops of milk from its member unions dairies. The total investment made into the mother dairy is to the tune of Rs. 150 crore. The dairy operates in shifts round the clock and managed by more than 600 young professionals. I have attended the six to eight weeks industrial training for project report at Mother Dairy (Unit of G.C.M.M.F.Ltd) to study the satisfaction level of retailers of Amul milk in Porbandar city. The objective of this project is to find out retailer’s satisfaction about Amul Milk in terms of Communication skills, Timely delivery of goods, Order providing services and distributor Services.
