Traditionally, libraries functioned primarily as physical repositories of books, archives, and reference materials, constrained by geographical boundaries and limited-service models. However, rapid technological advancements have reshaped their structure and purpose, giving rise to the concept of smart libraries. A smart library integrates advanced digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, and data analytics, to deliver efficient, personalized, and user-centric services. These libraries extend beyond physical spaces, creating interconnected digital environments that enhance accessibility, resource sharing, and collaborative learning. Within emerging knowledge ecosystems—networks linking individuals, institutions, technologies, and information—smart libraries act as dynamic knowledge hubs. They foster lifelong learning by supporting research, innovation, digital literacy, and community engagement. By utilizing intelligent systems for cataloging, recommendation services, automated circulation, and real-time resource management, smart libraries improve operational efficiency while ensuring inclusivity and equitable access to knowledge. More importantly, they redefine the role of libraries from passive information storage centers to proactive facilitators of education and cultural exchange. Rather than merely adapting to technological change, smart libraries actively reshape how communities interact with information, empowering learners to participate meaningfully in a digitally driven society.
2026-05-01T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 NOLEGEIN- Journal of Management Information Systemshttps://mbajournals.in/index.php/JoMIS/article/view/1814Knowledge Nest2026-04-04T08:53:13+00:00Swati Andhale[email protected]
Conventional education systems continue to encounter persistent challenges related to limited accessibility, lack of scalability, and insufficient personalization in learning delivery. Rapid digital transformation has highlighted the need for flexible and technology-driven educational solutions that can adapt to diverse learner requirements. In response to these challenges, the proposed KNOWLEDGE NEST System is a web-based learning platform designed to strengthen and modernize the teaching–learning process through the integration of digital tools and interactive resources. The system offers a structured learning environment that includes multimedia instructional content, assignments, quizzes, and communication features to facilitate continuous interaction between educators and learners. Developed using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, the platform ensures reliability, usability, and efficient data management. Students are provided with the flexibility to access academic resources anytime and from any location, promoting self-paced and independent learning. Simultaneously, educators are empowered with tools to create, update, and manage course materials efficiently while monitoring student progress and performance. This paper explores the growing need for such digital learning systems, examines the limitations of traditional education delivery models, and demonstrates how the KNOWLEDGE NEST System effectively addresses these gaps. By bridging the digital divide in education, the system enhances engagement, improves learning outcomes, and supports inclusive and scalable education. The proposed platform represents a practical and sustainable approach toward transforming conventional education into a more accessible, learner- centered, and technology-enabled ecosystem.
2026-04-04T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 NOLEGEIN- Journal of Management Information Systemshttps://mbajournals.in/index.php/JoMIS/article/view/1810The Role of Digital Finance in Knowledge Creation: A Literature Review of Financial Ecosystems2026-03-30T10:17:45+00:00Frenki R. Chauhan[email protected]
Financial ecosystems are undergoing rapid transformation as digital finance reshapes the way data is generated, processed, and converted into actionable knowledge for innovation and strategic decision- making. This literature review examines how emerging digital financial technologies – including FinTech platforms, digital banking systems, mobile payment solutions, artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain applications, and advanced analytics – contribute to knowledge creation within financial networks. The study highlights how digital infrastructures facilitate institutional learning, real-time data sharing, collaborative innovation, improved risk assessment, adaptive regulatory mechanisms, and expanded financial inclusion. By enabling continuous information flows and predictive insights, digital finance strengthens transparency, operational efficiency, and system-wide resilience. At the same time, the review identifies critical challenges that may hinder equitable knowledge diffusion and sustainable growth. These include cybersecurity threats, algorithmic bias in automated decision-making, digital divides across socio-economic groups, concerns related to data privacy and protection, and fragmented regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions. Such barriers may limit inclusive participation and undermine trust in digital financial systems. Overall, the findings suggest that digital finance functions not merely as a transactional tool but as a dynamic knowledge ecosystem that significantly influences the adaptability, sustainability, and long-term stability of modern financial systems.
2026-03-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 NOLEGEIN- Journal of Management Information Systemshttps://mbajournals.in/index.php/JoMIS/article/view/1802Janata Electronic2026-03-23T09:56:54+00:00Swati Andhale[email protected]
This paper examines the evolution, development, and growing influence of E-commerce websites on global retail markets.
