Abstract
The supply chain is a competitive tool, & it can be a complete advantage for organizations. In 21st century, supply chain is going to determine the success of organizations. In a global perspective, supply chain gained importance long ago. It was bit late from an Indian perspective, & late 90’s supply chain gained importance. Currently, the covid-19 pandemic is going on across the world, & numerous problems have emerged. Consumers are suffering most as communication & transportation is on hold. Products & services are not reaching customers in a timely manner at suitable prices. The cost of production is spiking, & finance is stuck across the world. Disposable income is lower end. In this condition, the supply chain plays a big & key role in satisfying consumers & gaining a sustainable competitive advantage for organizations. The primary function of the supply chain is to take products from creation to delivery, but it can also provide a competitive advantage within your industry and with your customers as well. It can make your customers loyal for a lifetime & satisfy their demands in a very efficient way. From beginning to end, the supply chain offers opportunities to spread innovation, maximize the capability of the organization, boost bottom line, & positively impact the customer’s experience with your products & brands. supply chain here can be used to create brand identity, & brand re call will be high. Thus, it helps to create brand equity, which is reflected in the balance sheet of the organization
