Effective Role of E-governance in Higher Education

Abstract

This paper discusses the effective role of E-governance to improve the higher education system in India. This study aims to describe the importance of E-governance in higher education. Electronic governance is the use of records and communications, applied sciences to organize and put into effect and display government programs, procedures and activities. E-governance is predicted to supply efficient and easy-to-facilitate general services, and improve the method of transactions among the government and between the government and alternative agencies. It is no doubt that there is no substitute for introducing e-governance in this area to significantly improve the quantity and quality of our education system.
