Abstract

The worldwide economy is managing various complex issues, including bank and monetary establishment disappointments, obligation emergencies in significant economies all over the planet, and the eurozone emergency. In the ongoing circumstance, nonperforming resources (NPAs) lie at the core of the banks' monetary issues. To support recovery execution, substantial advances should be made. There are basically two kinds of activities that should be led. Banks ought to attempt to keep new NPAs from being added to their books through appropriate show examination, and afterward to recuperate assets from accounts that have previously turned sour. The scientist examined the nonperforming assets (NPAs) of three Indian banks from 2015–16 to 2019–20 for this review. A country's ability to flourish economically depends on its banking sector since it facilitates resource distribution and financial intermediation. But the growth of non-performing assets (NPAs) is a danger to the soundness and productivity of banks, which will eventually affect the economy. Indian institutions, such as IDBI Bank and Canara Bank, have experienced severe difficulties recently. But the growth of non-performing assets (NPAs) is a danger to the viability and profitability of banks, which eventually affects the economy. To properly handle the NPA issue, Indian institutions—such as IDBI Bank and Canara Bank—have faced major challenges recently that call for thorough examination and corrective action.
