Comparative Ratio Analysis of Bambino Agro Industries Ltd. and Nestle India Ltd.
Abstract
This research report aims to find the best FMCG company out of the two most famous companies in the FMCG sector, i.e., Bambino Agro Industries Ltd and Nestle India Ltd. This can be achieved by comparing the financial performance of both companies over the last four years. The term “analysis of financial statements” or “financial performance” refers to the process of going over and evaluating a company’s financial accounts in order to make better financial decisions, or, the process of identifying an entity’s financial strengths and weaknesses by strategically relating the components of the balance sheet, profit and loss account, and other financial statements. The objective of the study is to understand the concept of ratio analysis through the evaluation of liquidity, profitability, solvency, and activity turnover ratios. Therefore, this paper aims at understanding the concept of ratio analysis through comparing the financial performance of the most famous FMCG companies.
