Abstract

Training and development play a vital role in enhancing employee performance and improving overall organizational effectiveness. The present study examines the impact of training and development programs on employee performance at Om Vaishnavi Telecomp Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The research specifically focuses on four key dimensions: Organizational Support for Training (OST), Employee Participation in Training (EPT), Training Effectiveness (TE), and Training Methods and Techniques (TMT), A descriptive research design was adopted for the study, and primary data were collected from 102 employees using a structured questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using statistical tools such as mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis to evaluate relationships between variables, The findings indicate that employees generally have positive perceptions of the training and development programs implemented within the organization. The results of the regression analysis reveal that Employee Participation in Training and Training Methods and Techniques have a strong and significant positive influence on employee performance. Additionally, Organizational Support for Training and Training Effectiveness also show a positive contribution, though comparatively moderate in impact, The study concludes that well-structured and effectively implemented training programs significantly enhance employee skills, knowledge, and productivity. Furthermore, active employee involvement and the use of appropriate training methods contribute to improved job performance and higher efficiency. Overall, the research highlights that continuous investment in training and development initiatives is essential for fostering employee growth, achieving organizational objectives, and maintaining long-term competitive advantage.
