The Role of AI in Advancing Circular Economy Policies for Clean Energy: A review
Abstract
With new technical developments and rising demand creating new avenues for innovation, the energy sector is undergoing a significant transition. With its ability to optimize energy systems operations, control, automation, etc., artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming a key force behind the transformation. It is essential to create a competitive policy framework that is in line with circular economy principles in order to adjust to the rapid revolution's trends and steer the energy industry in a fair, sustainable, and unbiased manner. Through a multidisciplinary approach, this study seeks to address the transformation trend in the creation of energy policies by proposing an AI-driven policy framework that is consistent with the circular economy business model. The study assesses the potential of AI in resolving the issues and highlights important trends and different strategies. The AI-driven policy paradigm provides a thorough framework and road map for utilizing AI's potential through a forward-thinking framework that considers the circular economy's core principles and the quickly evolving terrain. Researchers, governments, and other stakeholders can use the suggested new framework as a guide to traverse the energy landscape of the future and unleash AI's promise for a sustainable energy future.
