Abstract

Government welfare schemes have important part in promoting rural entrepreneurship by giving financial assistance, subsidies, skill improvement, & employment opportunities. This study examines the financial impact of government welfare schemes on rural entrepreneurial growth in India, with a focus on income generation, employment creation, business expansion, access to finance, and skill development. Study adopted a descriptive and analytical research design, primary data were collected from 81 rural entrepreneurs through questionnaire survey, whereas secondary data take from journals, government reports, annual reports, and official websites. Regression-analysis was applied to examine the relationship b/w govt. welfare schemes & rural entrepreneurial growth. The findings indicate that government welfare schemes have a positive and significant impact on rural entrepreneurship. most respondents reported improvements in income, financial stability, employment opportunities, business growth, and access to financial resources. however, challenges such as limited awareness, procedural delays, and difficulties in accessing benefits in remote areas still exist. the study recommends increasing awareness, simplifying application procedures, ensuring timely financial assistance, and strengthening institutional support to promote the growth of rural entrepreneurship and sustainable economic development.
