Abstract

Supply chain management is a critical component of modern businesses, requiring efficiency, accuracy, and adaptability to meet evolving market demands. It is decision-making, automating processes, and predicting demand with high accuracy. This section analyses artificial intelligence technologies including predictive analytics and machine learning and intelligent automation because they enhance supply chain operational output. All administrative functions including real-time tracking together with forecasting and inventory management along with route optimization create expenses reductions and better operational efficiency. Additionally, AI helps businesses respond swiftly to disruptions, ensuring resilience and agility in a dynamic market. By integrating AI into supply chain management, organizations can achieve enhanced productivity, reduced operational risks, and better customer satisfaction. This study highlights key AI applications, challenges, and future trends in smart supply chain optimization. Artificial intelligence enables organizations to proactively address and adapt to unforeseen disruptions—such as material shortages, political instability, and environmental challenges—thereby fostering greater resilience and flexibility in dynamic market environments. The integration of AI within supply chain systems allows companies to boost overall productivity, reduce operational vulnerabilities, and enhance customer satisfaction through more efficient and dependable service delivery. This study offers a comprehensive examination of AI-powered tools and their applications in supply chain management, delves into the key obstacles to their implementation, and highlights emerging trends that are redefining the future of smart supply chains. The results emphasize AI’s capacity to support the development of agile, intelligent, and sustainable supply chain models aligned with the strategic objectives of forward-thinking businesses in the digital era.
