Abstract

This paper reviews the present crisis in the field of energy. The gap between demand and supply in the field of energy is widening. There is also a need for environment-friendly, economical and efficient sources of energy. There are sustainable development goals, which have to be achieved by the year 2030, which require renewable sources of energy. The authors suggest the development of biofuel as an alternative fuel. The authors suggest the use of Tumba oil and Ambadi oil for the production of biofuel. These sources of energy are less costly and easily available. This paper is an introductory discussion paper on the energy crisis and how to handle this imminent crisis.
