Abstract

The “Corona virus disease–2019” (COVID-19) pandemic has created a greater impact in the
education system throughout the globe. In order to break the chain of the virus, entire globe-imposed
lockdown which brought complete shutdown of the education system. Closure of schools, institutions
and other learning spaces had greater impact affecting more than 1.6 billion learners. Even though
there is a greater advancement of technology in the 20th century, India relies on the “Traditional
methodology of teaching” combined with technology-based methods. Indian system, of education
builds a stronger relationship between learner and the mentor starting from the age level of 3 to 23
years. But now all this has come to a standstill due to this pandemic and education system blended
itself towards online education. Online education has made a greater impact on physical, behavioral
and cognitive development of students among all age groups. A survey was conducted on students to
understand the psychological impact of online methodology of teaching.
