Change is constant and adopting the change is the wise decision. The present society all around is
encountering change; the progress is from traditional age to digital age. Computerized innovation is
changing governmental issues, organizations, economies and society, and in addition our everyday
lives. Leaders have to identify these changes as opportunities and not treat them as threats. There are
certain Universal leadership characteristics which will remain constant. This paper talks about new
leadership skills required in digitals age for different sectors (eg: Educational, industrial) with
respect to different regions. Post understanding the competencies required by a leader in digital age
how to build these competences is also studied. A famous quote made by Mr. Tom Peters statesManagement is about arranging and telling. Leadership is about nurturing and enhancing. As a
leader for any changes the same has to be adopted and also the leader has to nurture his team. A
