Abstract

Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Law No. 6 of 2014 is defined as a business entity that all or most of its capital is owned by the village through direct participation from village assets which are separated in order to manage assets, services, and other businesses for the maximum welfare of the village community. BUMDes was chosen because of its position that empowers village communities and village resources to create an independent economy that is able to provide welfare to the village community. UU no. 6 of 2014 concerning the Village is a legal instrument that provides very large funds to the village to manage.
