Abstract

Crowdfunding has emerged as a pivotal mechanism for funding innovative projects and startups, revolutionizing the traditional financing landscape. However, concerns surrounding transparency, security, and trust in crowdfunding platforms persist. In response to these challenges, this research explores the integration of blockchain technology into crowdfunding, presenting a novel approach to enhancing the efficiency and reliability of crowdfunding campaigns. Through a comprehensive investigation, this study demonstrates the potential of blockchain's distributed ledger and smart contract capabilities in mitigating fraud, reducing intermediary costs, and fostering a more transparent and secure crowdfunding ecosystem. A case study exemplifies the practical implementation of the proposed blockchain- based crowdfunding platform, showcasing its real-world impact and shedding light on the future possibilities of this technology. This research contributes to the evolving discourse on blockchain technology and its transformative potential in the realm of crowdfunding. Our study delves into the design, implementation,
and evaluation of a crowdfunding platform underpinned by blockchain technology. By leveraging blockchain's inherent features, such as trustless transactions, automated contract execution, and transparent record-keeping, we aim to enhance the crowdfunding experience for both project creators and backers. Additionally, we investigate the potential impact of this integration on financial inclusivity, investor protection, and the broader landscape of crowdfunding.
