IMPACT OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE ON PRODUCTIVITY – A STUDY ON SOFTWARE PROFESSIONALS IN VIZAG IT PARK LIMITED OF ANDHRA PRADESH
Abstract
A few studies consistently examine the incremental validity of emotional intelligence measures to explain specific models in contrast to the Big Five personality measurements and cognitive ability. Several investigations have demonstrated the construct validity of EI, and meta-analysis of different scenarios has also produced favourable outcomes when compared to related constructs. In this study, emotional intelligence is measured using one of the earliest EI measures, and the construct is evaluated together with various other profile and related variables.
