Abstract

MSMEs, or micro, small, and medium-sized businesses, have been considered the engine behind economic expansion in the pursuit of equitable development. The sector's employment potential at low capital costs is by far its greatest benefit. Compared to enterprises, the MSME sector has a significantly greater labour intensity. Performance in enterprise level should be evaluated from many aspects, which can not only reflect the financial position of the current marketing, but also reflect the social benefits of the corporation as well as future potential. MSMEs, or micro, small, and medium-sized businesses, play an essential role in developing opportunities for employment, particularly in rural areas. In Andhra Pradesh's Srikakulam district, where the population is higher and the quantity of labor-intensive manufacturing plants is enormous, these are more vibrant. MSMEs are the main source of employment for those without jobs in areas like Srikakulam district, particularly for rural young, after the agricultural industry. Additionally, they offer an extensive range of products and services that satisfy the demands of regional, global, and local supply chains. The author of this study gave special attention to MSMEs' performance.
