Abstract

This study looks at how the gig economy is changing the way that traditional talent management approaches are used. In addition to addressing the opportunities and challenges presented by gig work, the paper also discusses how to manage a workforce that is flexible and has a variety of employment relationships. Best practices in talent acquisition, onboarding, and ongoing engagement are identified in this research, which also delves into the implications for legal considerations, workplace culture evolution, and organizational loyalty. This study provides useful insights for companies looking to optimize their talent management strategies in the gig economy era by utilizing case studies and projecting future trends. The strategic management of a workforce that is flexible and has a variety of work connections is a central focus of this study. Beyond merely observing, the article offers practical insights on optimal approaches in several crucial areas of people management, including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing involvement.
