Abstract

Education is a vital investment for human and economic development. In the history of mankind, education has formed a continuum and a basis for the development of human society. The world continuously faces drastic changes brought by new technologies, social change, and various upsetting events. These substantial changes include the way of living, occupational transition, and change in economic structures. These changes together with the varying personal and moral values have a significant impact on the education system and to the academic development of the students. Different research works have been done regarding the same. This research is aimed to identify the impact of the emotional quotient (EQ) and intelligent quotient (IQ) on the academic performance of graduate and postgraduate students in Porbandar city. Data would be gathered by 150 students via the Goggle form. Data analysis to test hypotheses would be done with the statistical technique. This research results will show the impact of both quotients on the academic performance of graduate and postgraduate students. Several strategies on effective teaching and learning activities should be identified to determine the influence on the development of domains of EQ and IQ in a positive way.
