Abstract

Advanced technology has changed employees involving their jobs and the skills they need to work effectively. This study analyzing the impact of advanced technology on employee skill requirements in textile industry. A descriptive research design was adopted for the study. Primary data were collected from 130 employees using a structured questionnaire through the convenience sampling method. secondary data were gathered from books, journals, and reliable websites. the collected data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis with SPPS software. the findings indicate that employees generally have a positive attitude toward the use of digital tools, automation, and technological innovations in the workplace. the results further reveal that digital tools and technological innovation have a significant positive impact on employee skill requirements, where as advanced technology and automation alone do not show a statistically significant individual effect. the study that technological advancement encourages employees to acquire new skills and improve their job performance. It recommends that organizations provide continuous learning opportunities, regular skill development programs help employees adapt to AI driven technological changes and remain productive in a work environment. This suggests that technology alone is insufficient unless employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and training to use it effectively. The study that technological advancement plays a crucial role in motivating employees to acquire new skills and remain competitive in a rapidly evolving work environment.it recommends that textile implement continuous learning initiatives, advanced technology focused training to help employees adapt to technological changes.
