Abstract

Six sigma is a quality program that, when all are claimed and done, improves your customer’s experience, lowers your costs, and builds better leaders. It is a continuous, controlled, and data-driven method of eliminating defects. Here we aim to go for six standard deviations between the mean and the nearest specification limit in any process throughout the life cycle of the product, business, or service. Six sigma is a disciplined and data-driven approach for eliminating defects within six standard deviations (lesser than 3.4 defects per million opportunities). Six sigma is used to measure the total defects that any process creates. The term implies high-quality performance because a process working at a six sigma level allows only 3.4 defects per a million opportunities.
