Abstract

Work from Home (WFH), also called remote work, became very common during the COVID-19 pandemic when many organizations allowed employees to work from their homes to continue their work safely. This research focuses on how working from home affects employee productivity. WFH has several positive effects. Employees save time because they do not need to travel to the office, which can reduce stress and give them more time to focus on their tasks. It also provides flexibility, allowing employees to manage their work and personal life more easily. Because of these benefits, many employees feel more comfortable and productive while working from home. However, WFH also has some challenges. Employees may feel isolated because they have less face-to-face interaction with colleagues. Communication with team members can sometimes become difficult when everything is done online. In addition, working from home may bring distractions such as household responsibilities or family members. Overall, the study suggests that a hybrid work model, where employees work partly from home and partly from the office, can provide the best balance between flexibility, collaboration, and productivity.
