Abstract

The significant connection between work-life balance, mental health, and stress at work is the main emphasis of this study. The modern workplace, marked by rapid technological change and high-performance expectations, poses significant psychological challenges for employees. Unmanaged stress can cause a variety of issues that impact an organization's and an individual's health. This research aims to understand how stress affects mental health and work-life balance and identify effective strategies to improve employee resilience. The research objectives are to investigate the effects of stress on mental health and work-life balance, using a questionnaire-based survey of IT sector employees. In summary, this research seeks to provide valuable insights into the intricate relationship between workplace stress, mental well-being, and job performance, with the goal of improving the overall health and productivity of modern workplaces. If these stressors are not managed, they can lead to a variety of problems that are harmful to the wellbeing of the individual as well as the health of the organization. As a result, this study aims to clarify how stress affects mental health and work-life balance and to identify effective tactics for enhancing employee resilience. Examining the effects of stress on mental health and work-life balance, the study uses a questionnaire-based survey aimed at professionals in the IT sector. Essentially, the goal of this research is to provide significant insights into the complex relationship that exists between job performance, mental health, and workplace stress, all with the goal of improving the general well-being and productivity of modern workspaces.
