Abstract

The emergence of research on organization development has widened the research areas of human
resource. There are huge contributions happening towards organization development and
sustainability. Organization development is a process where continuous efforts on effective utilisation
of organization resources is valued more. To have a competitive edge, organizations are investing
more in human capital. Now, Economic success is no longer acclaimed without the vision of
organization development. Employee contributions in organization’s success and innovations are
recognised and rewarded thus encouraging employees towards intrapreneurship. Fostering
intrapreneurial behaviour in employees helps organizations not only in increasing productivity but
also in having competitive edge in market. Thus, this is a conceptual study intending to understand
impact of fostering intrapreneurship and factors intrapreneurship in organization development in
India. Aim: The study intends to understand intrapreneurial behaviour factors on organization
development. Research methodology: Secondary data collected from different journals and papers.
