Abstract

The expansion of the Indian steel sector is essential for the country’s economic progress. It is regarded as the foundation of the human empire. The amount of steel used per capita was considered a key indicator of a nation’s level of socioeconomic advancement and the citizenry’s standard of life. Large and technologically complex industries have strong linkages with steel products in terms of the flow of materials and the generation of income. The hub-position steel industries have improved energy efficiency and backward integration into worldwide raw material sources. Major industrial economies in India are characterized by the survival of strong steel industries. The strength of their steel industries throughout the early phases of development significantly influenced the growth of several of these economies.
