Abstract

This study explores the significant and varied effects that social media influencers have on people’s private lives, looking at the psychological, sociological, and economic aspects of their influence. As digital platforms grow more and more integrated into everyday life, influencers are becoming increasingly significant. They are influencing public attitudes, actions, and trends in a variety of fields. This study examines the dual nature of their influence, emphasizing the serious risks, such as the spreading of false information, distorted standards, and psychological distress, as well as the possible advantages, like the encouragement of healthy social activities and brand awareness. This research addresses the necessity of possible monitoring and regulatory solutions to lessen these detrimental effects by a thorough analysis of the body of available literature. The study also considers the moral ramifications of influencer marketing, including the need for openness and disclosure to safeguard customers. This study aims to contribute to the current discussion on social media influencers role in modern society by utilizing a wide range of scholarly viewpoints. It emphasizes the significance of developing a balanced strategy that protects peoples personal safety while acknowledging influencers legitimate role in the digital economy.
