Human Capital for a Green Future: An Empirical Analysis of Green Human Resource Practices in Manufacturing Sector

Green Human Resource Management has become one of the most important strategies that an organization should adopt in order to. integrate business growth and the environment. This study discusses the application. and performance of Green HRM practices in different dimensions, among them Green Training. Green Performance Evaluation, Development, Compensation and Incentives, Employee. Participation, Empowerment and engaging employees, Planning and operational practices and Review Practices. A survey was conducted to determine the level of awareness of employees, their level of engagement and to witness the overall effect of Green HRM on the performance and sustainability of organizations. Data collection was done using descriptive research design and random sampling method. between workers of a manufacturing company based in Bhubaneswar. Structured questionnaires the use of a Likert scale were used in order to explore the perception of employees about Green. HRM practices. The results show that though organizations are making efforts to go Green. Low employee awareness, deficiency of formal incentives, and inadequate are some of the challenges that HRM has to deal with. censorship discourages its maximum power. The study highlights that it is necessary to do research. environmentally friendly performance assessment, strategic policy and comprehensive training. integration in order to make Green HRM more successful. This research will serve the current literature in the field. sustainable HR practices literature, which has high implications to organizations that plan to. to enhance their environmental responsibility and long term corporate sustainability. The findings highlight the importance of responsive Green HRM adopted by the organizations. that enhance employee loyalty and do not contradict the global sustainability objectives.
